FCL Electoral District Map – 19 to 15 Transition Process

Following the resolution passed at the 2008 annual meeting, the FCL board worked on implementing a reduction in the size of the board from 19 to 15. A new 15 district map was approved that took into account retail purchases from FCL, the number of retails in each district, geography and a balance of delegates amongst districts.

New districts with two directors residing within the district were divided into A’s and B’s, creating a new 19 district map which came into effect on October 31, 2008 (see map link below). By matching the expiry dates of the terms for these directors, the A’s and B’s will be combined to form one district. Director elections will be held in these combined districts at the 2010 Annual Meeting, resulting in a 15 member board (see map link below).
