The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 250 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services. Lang Co-operative invites applications for the position of Retail Manager.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the successful applicant will assume responsibility for the financial management of the operation and all aspects of hardware, petroleum, oil and grease. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing Riceton Co-operative, located in Riceton, Saskatchewan.
Qualifications include one to three years of previous retail management experience with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, along with a class 3A drivers license. Preference will be given to those with previous co-op experience.
